- Deliver testing outcomes in a cross functional scrum team

- Bring your knowledge of the principles of Integration testing and contribute toward the evolution of our test engineering practices and champion quality

**Te Kāinga Rua | The Opportunity**

Play a key role in the technical delivery of our innovative software solutions in a growing and maturing product development team. You will be working collaboratively with our internal teams to deliver a range of software solutions to our diverse customer base. This role will leverage your test engineering skills in a real-world setting, as a key contributor to the delivery of new and existing Beca digital projects, both in New Zealand and globally. You will be comfortable sharing your knowledge and expertise and helping the team to grow their testing capability. With a broad range of software solutions in play, the ability to switch focus and prioritise work is a must.

- 2+ years of software testing experience with a foundation in Test Automation
- Strong knowledge and proved experience in Python
- Working experience with tools that support test automation. The following tools are useful but not essential, Web developer tools, Azure Dev Ops, Selenium, Postman
- Experience using source control tools and managing the test environment configurations
- Experience developing, using and maintaining test automation frameworks and planning for automated test maintenance and ensuring the automations are running
- Thorough knowledge of the principles of functional and non-functional testing, test planning and reporting, test design, test case writing and maintenance and manual exploratory testing
- Experience in reporting, investigating, triage and tracking bugs
- Experience of DevOps practices and continuous integration and delivery including CI / CD test pipelines is useful but not essential
- An agile and open mindset, able to consider new ideas and approaches to complex situations
- A focus on outcomes and a proven problem-solving ability
- Proactive, flexible, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Great communication skills with the ability to build meaningful and collaborative relationships across various levels of a business

In addition, knowledge and experience across the following is not critical, however would be beneficial:

- Microsoft azure platform, SQL, Webdev, C/C#, React, PaaS, PowerBI
