Are you an enthusiastic motivated person wishing to work in the area of vascular disease?

**_About our team/Mō te tīma_**

We are a team of vascular surgeons, technologists and research staff using various diagnostic investigations to research the causes and management of vascular conditions.

Our unit provides clinical diagnostic services to the Southern District Health Board, and to the wider community, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases

The unit is also part of the Vascular Research Group and works closely with other research groups at local, national and international levels.

**_The role/Te mahi_**

In this role you will join a multidisciplinary focused clinical research team investigating vascular disease.

This position involves working within a fun team of vascular technicians and sonographers in assessing patients with vascular disease, using physiological techniques and ultrasound. Assessments are carried out for the purpose of both clinical patient care and research. The successful applicant would learn the specific techniques and assist in the general tasks of the Assessment Unit.

This position is permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week), however, a part-time position may also be considered, commencing as soon as possible.
