**About us**
Te Wānanga o Aotearoa is one of New Zealand's largest tertiary education providers offering a comprehensive range of certificate to degree level qualifications.

**About the role**
This position will provide executive administrative support and general office management duties for our dynamic senior leadership team within Te Ihu Takiwā (Tāmaki Makaurau and Te Tai Tokerau regions). These duties will be varied and will range from maintenance of senior leadership team calendars, coordination of meetings and minute taking, managing travel bookings to collating and completing regular reports. In addition, the role will support communications within the Takiwā and provide a central point of contact for contractual administration. There will be a small amount of travel involved in this role at various times of the year.

**About you**
You will have proven experience as an Executive Assistant; have a Diploma in Business Studies or relevant qualification, hold a Full NZ Drivers Licence, be an advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite; have excellent written and oral communication skills; together with the ability to enjoy positive relationships with all kaimahi (staff), external customers and other stakeholders. It would be advantageous if you have a sound understanding of basic te reo Māori and tikanga or be willing to engage and learn.
