We take pride in supporting and encouraging our nurses to upskill and develop their nursing careers. We are seeking an experienced practice nurse to join our team for 4 days a week. **About the Role** This role will suit an experienced practice nurse who enjoys variety and works to maintain a high standard of clinical services. You will be tasked with providing safe equitable and effective nursing care, support, treatment and health promotions to our patients. As a team player with strong organisational and time management skills, you will be adaptable, open to change and able to relate well to people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. The following skills and attributes are preferred but not essential as training will be provided: - Prior experience working in a primary health care setting - Current NZ practising certificate - Current professional Indemnity Insurance - Current Level 4 or above CPR, independent vaccinator and smear taker certificate - Are computer literate with experience in PMS and MS Office - Commitment to continuous quality improvement and professional development - Have an understanding or be willing to grasp an understanding of the importance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Ao Maori and other cultural competencies - Be flexible, adaptable and thrive in a busy team environment **Working at Wintec** One of New Zealand's leading tertiary institutes, Wintec's focus is on innovation and future-proofing.
