We are currently seeking a dynamic Senior Data Engineer to be a key player in our high-performing team. Reporting to the Team Leader - Data Collection Systems, you will collaborate with talented professionals, including a Senior Developer and 3x Intermediate Level.NET Developers.

**He angitūtanga: About the Role**

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in working with the Data Architecture team and Data Analyst team to model implementation options and rapidly build technical solutions that align with business requirements. Key responsibilities include:

- Development of ELT architecture and implementation using cutting-edge cloud technologies
- Building robust data systems and pipelines
- Analyzing and understanding business requirements
- Identifying innovative implementation options
- Developing a proof of concept to validate performance, ease of use, etc.
- Providing technical assistance in the identification, evaluation, and development of software systems
- Developing and reviewing coding documentations and other technical specifications
- Assisting in various unit and integration testing

**He kōrero mōu: What we are looking for**:

- Expertise in data-related Azure technologies such as Azure PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, and Azure Cosmos DB
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory and DevOps (CI/CD Pipelines)
- Solid experience in version control software, writing T-SQL scripts, and MS SQL Server
- Previous experience using Databricks and Profisee
- Highly developed diagnosis skills
- Motivation to resolve complex problems
- Capability for primarily self-directed work
- A user-centric development approach
