Oversee and set rem direction, strategy and framework

- Auckland or Wellington location plus hybrid working
Part of the wider HR team, the Remuneration & Benefits Specialist role is key to ensure the organisation is well positioned and competitive in market to attract and retain key talent - all key impacts to ensure business strength and adaptability to market factors and changes
As a trusted advisor (including to the Exec and senior leadership level), combining current market trends, info and data analysis, your data-driven recommendations and insights will champion continuous improvements and define company best practice approach to compensation practices, aligning with both commercial and culture strategies and goals.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Plan and manage remuneration review process
- Conducting research, data tracking and monitoring market trends to help define total package and compensation drivers (monetary & non-monetary)
- Design compensation packages with employee satisfaction, business goals and people strategy in mind
- Develop remuneration strategy that will translate to commercial results and support union bargaining process
- Review and evaluate benefits in terms of effectiveness and improvements
- Position reviews and evaluation processes to align with organisation’s matrix
**To be successful, you will have**:
- Proven Remuneration & Rewards and HR experience - thorough knowledge of HR and compensation practices, labour regulations
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills backed with effective communication skills - deliver your findings and champion the strategy internally
- Effective business partnering & influencing ability -coach and support key stakeholders plus work effectively across exec and business leaders
- Hands on experience with HRIS, payroll software
