Auckland City, New Zealand Chorus NZ Limited Full time

**Contract: Permanent - full time**

**Where: Auckland**

***

**We’re all about endless potential**:
We’re the team empowering New Zealand’s digital future. A future few can imagine. It started with the roll-out of our once in a hundred year network. But there’s much more to come as we keep pushing what’s possible, providing unlimited access to an ever-evolving range of innovative products and services. Technology that’ll support, inspire and connect people and businesses for generations.

To that end, we need more curious, collaborative and forward-thinking people. Because while we’re busy improving our national network, we’ll need more of the best to join our truly inclusive workforce, one where you’ll be made to feel you belong, and that everything you do is valued (because you do, and it is).

As for our culture. Our people say it’s one of the best around. We’re proud of that. And with our Chorus Care package benefits behind you too, you’ll have everything you need to seize this opportunity and make it your own.

**Work your way.**:
**What you’ll be doing**:
You will be working with the Head of Leadership, Learning & Development to support all aspects of the organisation wide learning and development offering here at Chorus. From knowing what is happening in the learning space, sharing what’s coming across our communication platforms, co-ordinating with those delivering and attending our learning and keeping a handle on who has completed learning is all part of the role.

You’ll be the first point of contact for everything learning and development. You will be working really closely with our People Leaders, our people and our external learning partners. You will have your finger on the pulse and be really connected with the People & Culture team and across the organisation. You will be sharing what learning opportunities are coming and working with those who are engaged with our learning programmes. You will co-ordinate the wider learning experience across Health & Safety and Risk & Compliance to make sure our people complete the right learning at the right time. You will have an eye for detail and take the lead in reviewing our content to make sure it will hit the mark. A key part of this is ensuring we optimise both now, and in the future our Learning Management System as a way of deploying learning, supporting our people’s development and monitoring our learning programmes.

Working as part of the People & Culture team, you will be working with a fun, committed, passionate and driven team who put our people at the heart of everything we do. You will gain valuable insight as to what is important as we continue to develop the capability and confidence of our people. You will be on the inside track to connect those with learning needs to solutions that will support their development.

This is a relatively new role with a focus our leadership and learning and development programmes - we recognise the importance of developing our people. We have an exciting time ahead as we focus on the build of capability as we evolve our ways of working and become a more adaptive organisation. There are so many opportunities in this role to not only do what is required as part of our BAU, but for us to be more proactive and visible in the learning space.

**What you’ll bring to the table**:
Above all, you will be someone who has a ‘people first’ lens and will thrive on supporting those around you. You will have a self-starter attitude; you will be happy working autonomously and will thrive when collaborating with others. You will be a confident multi-tasker, have great time management skills to mange conflicting priorities and won’t be afraid to ask when you need help or if there are problems.

You will be a top-notch communicator and will want to give not only what is required but knock the ball out of the park

By bringing your best YOU to this role, you will be set up for success, however experience in the following areas will put you in good stead:

- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (ideally SABA) - administration and management of the system, on-going continuous improvement as we widen our offering and support business driven curriculums
- Experience working in a learning team - understanding of some of the key learning fundamentals including needs analysis, learning design and blended learning solutions
- Administration support, calendar management and co-ordination of logistics both internally and externally
- A CAN DO approach to connecting with our people, understanding their enquiries and being the first point of contact to support them
- Be an amazing communicator - both verbally and through our written communication platforms
- Be very tech savvy and have an aptitude and willingness to learn new systems and process, you will educate others on our LMS and be up for using some of authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline
- Provide regular reporti
