**The Opportunity**:
We have an opportunity for a Service Supervisor in our Waikato Branch. In accordance with Komatsu standards, policies, and procedures, this position will coordinate, manage, and schedule branch service activities. The position is responsible and accountable for the total operation of the Service Department to ensure it is run efficiently and profitable while offering genuine product support to customers at the branch. This includes coordinating technicians, parts, contractors, and all other relevant stakeholders involved in each job.
**Roster: Monday - Friday**
**Role Located: Waikato**

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Responsible and accountable for the operation of the branch Service Department to ensure that it performs safely, efficiently and effectively to achieve company set targets.
- Drive the development and expansion of the Service business in the territory allocated to the Branch in consultation with the Regional Manager.
- Management and development of all elements of the branch Service operations to achieve excellence in customer service and support (for both external and internal customers).
- Develop and maintain high levels of communication throughout the branch as well as the rest of the company
- Proactive coaching, encouraging, and reinforcing of the Service team so that they continuously strive towards and achieve high levels of teamwork, accountability, responsibility, and initiative.
- Actively demonstrate positive belief and attitudes to the principles of the Komatsu Way and promote similar attitudes amongst your staff.
**Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role
- Understands strong customer service
- Must be available for afterhours calls
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics & SAP
- Well-developed written & oral communication skills
- Be able to communicate at all levels both internal & external
- Heavy diesel trade qualified preferred but not essential.
- Must have a “can do attitude” with strong analytical skills
