We are currently seeking expressions of interest from **Urban, Environmental, Regional, Infrastructure or Policy Planners **at various career stages to become an integral part of our growing team.
Our National Planning Group work on a wide range of exciting multidisciplinary projects that will shape the future of our communities, including nationally significant infrastructure projects, policy development, strategic planning and place-making.
Some projects and clients our planners are currently working with include Let’s Get Welly Moving, policy work for the Ministry for the Environment and Greater Wellington Regional Council, NZ Defence Force estate regeneration, and infrastructure consenting for Auckland Council, Auckland Transport and the Ministry of Education. We are also working with food processing and manufacturing clients, ports and airports, and with local and regional councils throughout the country on policy development and structure plans, disaster recovery, as well as stormwater and wastewater upgrade projects. Additionally, we have a growing workload in the renewable energy sector.
**Available roles include**:
- **Planner **- develop your career and skillset working alongside our industry leading experts.
- **Senior Planner **- bring experience and play a lead role in project delivery and winning work.
- **Technical Lead **- **Planning **- be a technical leader and drive the continued growth of our team’s capabilities.
- **Team Leader - Planning **(Wellington) - be the people leader for our local team and deliver project & client outcomes.
**This exciting opportunity will see you**:
- Working together with our leading technical specialists on complex consenting and policy projects in the water, transport, energy and buildings markets
- Interacting daily with high performing teams and highly experienced Technical Directors
- Growing and developing professionally through mentoring, training, and active involvement in professional organisations and our GHD global technical communities

- Working collaboratively with our national team of planners
**What you will bring to the team**:
- Technical planning experience in regional council, local council or private sector planning, including in consenting infrastructure projects and/or leading plan review processes
- Relevant NZPI recognised Planning qualification
- Enthusiasm to work collaboratively with other technical disciplines and think laterally to deliver integrated solutions on multi-disciplinary projects
- A passion for client relationship management
