**The Opportunity**

We are growing and changing Launching under our Epicure brand we have an exciting new role for an outstanding individual as our Retail, Food & Catering Manager.

This is a terrific senior leadership opportunity providing effective leadership to our people ensuring a highly motivated and productive retail food and catering Operations team consistently delivering against contract requirements. This role can be based Wellington, Auckland or Christchurch and the successful applicant must be willing and able travel nationally.

Overall, the role will:

- Nationally:

- Be accountable for the management of commercial results and operational delivery across all retail food and catering contracts
- Foster business connections and develop new business opportunities
- Nurtures and develop a Zero Harm culture
- Develop:

- and maintain site-based customer relationships across the region
- a sense of regional community and encourage Operational Managers to continually foster the development of their team members enhancing skills and developing potential future leaders of the business.

**Important Skills**

You will have 5 years + multi-site/regional operational and client relationship management experience in the retail food and catering industry, working in a highly competitive and commercial environment. You will also have a strong change management background along with strong financial and P & L experience.

- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of financial management key drivers
- A strong level of verbal and written communications skills

- is able to operate effectively within a team environment and seeks to ensure the front-line teams have what they need to be successful, through pro-active support, a solutions focused attitude and active engagement in resolving issues.
