**Description**: **About the role**: We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and registered Environmental Advisor with a current practicing license to join our Environment team to maintain environmental and regulatory compliance at our Havelock operations, and drive initiatives that deliver value through protection and enhancement of the environment. Key to this role is facilitating and supporting the integration of environmental elements from Sanfords Sustainability Policy into operations to ensure that sound environmental management becomes firmly aligned with operational excellence and "how we do business". Based in Havelock and reporting to the Group Environmental Manager, you will have a strong technical background, be able to manage and use data to drive good decisions and implement improvement projects while collaborating with key stakeholders. **What you need to be successful in this role**: - A tertiary qualification and a minimum of 3 years experience in an Environmental role. - Experience within a compliance role ideally within a primary industry or manufacturing environment. - Knowledge of, and track record in, working with environmental regulatory requirements and processes. Experience in implementing and maintaining environmental standards, particularly ISO 14001. - Highly proficient in data analysis using Microsoft Excel and various reporting tools. Ability to relate well to people from diverse backgrounds and across business functions. - Ability to objectively analyse information and problem solve. Experience in environmental incident investigation and reporting. - Preferred, but not mandatory professional certification, includes Environmental auditor registration and /or Certified Environmental Practitioner Certificate (CEnvP). **What we can offer you**: - Opportunity to learn, make a difference and bring about change. - Work alongside a great team at Havelock, with great functional support networks. - Ability to grow your skillset as the role covers a variety of operations across the Marlborough region. - Minimum of 40 hours per week with overtime available. - Great remuneration starting between 70-90K, dependant on experience. **About Us**: Applications: For consideration you will need to be eligible to work in New Zealand.
