Our client is a highly respected, well established and efficient land development civil, commercial and residential earthworks and drainage contracting company. The company is experiencing an increase in workload and they require an additional experienced Project Manager for the team. This position will report to the General Manager and Contracts Manager and liaise with other senior staff including site staff, Site supervisor and Estimators.

Their services include:

  • Land development including all earthworks, drainage, watermain, services and roading
  • Earthworks
  • Commercial & Residential drainage

The job description would include (but not limited to) the following:

  • Delivery of contracts to ensure budgets and time-frames are met.
  • Scheduling of staff, sub-contractors, and equipment to ensure jobs run efficiently.
  • Communicate confidently with clients, engineers, council representatives and on the ground staff.
  • Ensure all works are completed to the required standards.
  • Recording of all QA and testing requirements.
  • Financial tracking throughout the month and completion of accurate monthly claims
  • Ensure all H&S requirements are prepared for individual jobs and ensure these requirements are carried out on-site.

The preferred applicant should have the following:

  • At least 5 years' experience in Project Management of Land Development projects including earthworks, drainage(3 waters) and roading with a proven track record in delivering quality outcomes.
  • Be able to work confidently with a diverse team and create a positive and happy work environment and be a good buggar
  • Have excellent computer skills including MS suite.
