Part-time - one day per week, no school holidays.

We have a vacancy at our Friendship centres based in Remuera operating one day per week during school terms.

The role requires co-ordination of a friendship centre, leading a small team of volunteers to provide activities, in a fun and safe environment for vulnerable older people. Centres operate from 9.30 - 1 pm during school term time with some set up and preparation time included in the hours.
- If you have compassion and ability to work with volunteers and want school holidays free for your family then this may be an ideal job for you._
- Effective communication is essential, with good command of English needed.
- Experience in working with volunteers, community, not for profit groups, older people and those with disabilities would be beneficial, but not essential.
- Our preference is for employing someone local to the area.
- A covid vaccination pass is essential.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: Up to $23.50 per hour
