Perfectly located on Bowen St across from parliament, Huxley’s is a venue that is well-loved by Wellington’s corporate scene. We combine modern diner food with great coffee, cold beer, delicious cocktails and good times. Huxley’s is open Monday 'till Friday for breakfast, lunch and dinner with the occasional Saturday for functions. This is a super diverse venue that you will never find boring

We’re looking for a Venue Manager who will be able to slot right into this tight-knit team. You will need to be able to balance engaging in effective service during key service time with the business side of things. Being an awesome leader and helping your staff reach their maximum potential is a key aspect of this role. Huxley’s is known for being an excellent place to wine and dine, and we want a Venue Manager who is passionate to uphold the reputation

**What we’ll need from you**:

- You are a motivating, driven and caring leader
- You are energetic, enthusiastic and possess excellent communication skills
- You are an organised person who has great time management skill
- Previous experience with understanding numbers and sound cost control and revenue generating
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hospitality with at least a year in a senior management role in a similar sized venue
- A valid LCQ/DM Certificate is necessary for compliance purposes
