**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

As part of the NRT team, you will work alongside the Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) for NRT, Nurse Educator and Duty Nurse Manager (DNM) Team. You will form collaborative relationships with Charge Nurse Managers, shift coordinators and the Care Capacity Demand Management CCDM team. The CNC role is responsible for coordinating the deployment of NRT staff that supports the CCDM variances to meet the nursing needs of wards and services for all shifts. The CNC is accountable for ensuring safe, appropriate and efficient allocation of staff to support patient care, admissions and transfers into and within services.

**Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service**

The Nursing Resource Team (NRT) is based in the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) at Waikato Hospital. It comprises of approximately 200 nursing staff (RN/ENs/HCA) who are deployed to the acute inpatient areas of Waikato Hospital 24/7. The NRT CNC will work rostered shifts covering the hours from 0:600 till 00:30 7 days a week. The CNC will undertake nursing staff deployment for all shifts including the 35 wards/areas acute inpatients areas within Te Whatu Ora, Waikato.

This position is ideal for a senior registered nurse wanting career advancement. Preferred skills include sound knowledge of iPM systems, One Staff, CapPlan, Patient Flow Management (PFM), and CCDM/Trendcare. Post graduate studies are desirable.
