Our reputable client is a New Zealand based manufacturer of high-quality commercial equipment and is on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Store Person to join their team.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- To receive and store, all inventory (raw materials, components, finished products, parts) in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
- To ensure that internal and external customer and production orders are picked accurately effectively, in a timely manner and that all computer records are accurately updated.
- Package products, components and parts correctly to prevent damage during export and domestic freight
- To ensure that all inventory is accurately dispatched to customers in the quickest and most effective cost manner together with accurate and appropriate documentation.
- Accuracy of inventory recording is maintained when entering data, complemented by accurate cycle counts on parts / products as directed by the team leader.
- To work within our clients quality system and provide input for continuous improvement initiatives.
- To unload and load trucks
- Tidy and accurate placement of inventory in the yard in accordance with the agreed plan and overall upkeep of the yard layout and order.

**Skills Required**:

- Experience in warehousing of at least 2 years preferably in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
- Stock taking/cycle counting
- Good verbal communication skills
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Able to work unsupervised
- Have great attention to detail, operational accuracy and a sense of urgency
- Ability to be a proven team player with an excellent work ethic
- Be customer, results focused and have integrity
- Have a current driver's license, F Endorsement & Osh Certificate
- Competent operator of material handling equipment
- Have the right to live and work in New Zealand
