Are you looking to learn a rewarding trade, build real skills and set yourself up for a fulfilling career? Our Earthmoving Division is looking for a motivated apprentice to join our New Zealand team working from our Tauranga facility

You will complete a Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering - Plant and Equipment (Level 3-4), while learning the ropes in hydraulics, electrical and mechanicals skills on cutting-edge machinery while working side by side with expert technicians.

**The Opportunity**:

- Learn from the best - help our qualified technicians diagnose faults, repair and maintain our heavy construction fleet
- Work with mechanical, hydraulic, electric and pneumatic systems - develop your skills on technically advanced equipment
- Enjoy a two-week onboarding in Sydney to get you started safely and confidently - meet the team, our Technical Trainer and Apprenticeship Coordinator
- Work in our workshop and in the field with our qualified Technicians - see what our machines can do on the job

**About you**:

- You take pride in what you do and have a sharp eye for details
- You are curious, enthusiastic about learning new skills and always up for a challenge
- You have a positive attitude and make safety a priority
- You can demonstrate initiative and are self-driven with problem solving skills
- You have great communication skills - both written and verbal and you know how to deliver great customer service
- You completed Year 10
- Bonus points if you have a Certificate II or pre-apprenticeship course in a relevant field
- A drivers licence is preferred but not essential

Our recruitment process includes:

- Screening
- Interview with the Service Manager and our Apprenticeship Coordinator
- Reference checks, pre employment medical and police clearance

Please note that the review and selection process for our Apprenticeship program can take up to 4 months with interviews starting in mid August 2025, with the successful apprentice starting in January 2026.
