About the role

Due to ongoing successful tenders for a variety of projects, we require a senior level structural engineer with exceptional current design skills and the ability to review and discuss options with others in the team.

Day to day tasks would involve:

- \tDetailed designs and calculations across a variety of infrastructure projects
- \tProject leadership including planning, design and construction project delivery methods
- \tDetailed report writing
- \tAbility to carry out structural assessments, inspections, risk assessment and asset management
- \tConstruction supervision
- \tWorking closely with project teams and project manager to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery
- \tMentoring and development of junior team members

To be successful in this role you’ll need:
To be a CPEng Chartered structural engineer or working towards Chartership and in the range of 7+ years professional experience in the consulting industry. You will have experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects such as tanks, pipelines and pump stations and commercial/industrial buildings. You will have proven project delivery leadership experience and ideally have experience in transportation infrastructure delivery, although not essential.
