**Senior Structural Engineer - Christchurch****
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our experienced Building Structures team.
In this role, you will actively contribute to structural engineering projects within the Property & Buildings Group, providing technical capability and upskilling and mentoring our earlier career structural engineers. It is essential that you have experience in meeting our clients' needs by delivering a high-quality professional consultancy service.
This role offers the chance to work on interesting and complex built-environment projects. You will have the opportunity to work on varied and challenging design projects across Canterbury, New Zealand, and globally, applying your expertise to develop innovative and future-focused solutions.
About You
- Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, BE, (Structural or Civil)
- Chartered Professional Engineering (CPEng)
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in the field of structural or civil engineering
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of building structures including high level of practical knowledge of relevant construction practices.
- Confident with seismic engineering for buildings, including design for resilience and assessment.
- Excellent knowledge of the relevant design codes, standards, guidelines, and practices.
Able to demonstrate a client-centric mindset and effectively generate business opportunities by cultivating strong client relationships.
