We are currently seeking an experienced, self-motivated and reliable Maintenance Manager to join our team at Oaks Wellington Hotel on a full time basis.

This position will be responsible for overseeing all Maintenance & Facilities requirements for the property.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Implement and drive the preventative maintenance program.
- Perform the role in a hands-on manner by undertaking any repairs and maintenance as required.
- Supervision of (but not limited to) electrical, mechanical, pest control, cleaning, fire protection, security control systems, hydraulic services and approved contractor works.
- Ensure WHS best practice at all times.
- Stock control, supplier management.
- Quoting, scheduling and managing of Capex Requests
- Assisting Hotel Manager with recruitment for the Maintenance department

**Qualifications** The successful applicant will have**:

- Previous hands-on Maintenance/Facilities Management experience, preferably in a hotel environment;
- Proven ability to manage and develop team members;
- Experience implementing a preventative maintenance program;
- Experience organising, consulting and negotiating with Contractors;
- Sound MS Office skills (including Excel spreadsheets and word documents)
- A passion for delivering exceptional, pro-active service;
- Excellent interpersonal and communications combined with impeccable presentation
- Availability to work full time hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Building qualification will be highly regarded
