Our Development Contributions Assessors come from a variety of backgrounds, but what they all have in common is their excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

In this varied role you will get to:

- Use your customer service skills to manage a variety of clients, from your first-time small-scale developer to large commercial developers.
- Work with staff across a number of units to coordinate and complete the assessment of development contributions
- Provide input into the development and implementation of future development contribution policies.
- Have ongoing training by team members who are passionate about what they do and are eager to share their knowledge.

Ideally you will have:

- Experience in a role that requires you to problem solve, make decisions, and analyse information in an environment where reference to policies and procedures is required
- Experience in a role that has a large focus on delivering exceptional customer service to a variety of people
- An ability to tailor communications packages to specific types of audiences/receivers
- Excellent mathematical skills and ability to comprehend intricate formulae
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written form.

- Salary_ - $64,687 - $74,597
- Location_ - This position is primarily based at Christchurch City Council Civic Offices, 53 Hereford Street

Whilst staff working at the Christchurch City Council are not currently required to be vaccinated, applicants need to be aware that should the COVID-19 environment change, roles across the organisation will be assessed, and the requirement to be vaccinated may be reviewed.
