**Hours**: Minimum 30 hours per week, rostered across 7 days (Monday to Sunday, including public holidays)

**Pay Rate**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

**Location**: 6 Papanui Road, Merivale, Christchurch 8014

Noki Café in Christchurch is a busy café that is open from Monday to Sunday. We are seeking a full time Café Manager to oversee our team.

The Café Manager will need to ensure they provide excellent customer service and product quality control. We are looking for someone able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need to have a passion for customer service along with experience managing a café.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:
l Ensuring that you 'take ownership' of the café and that you 'get involved’ in the community and its people.

l Ensuring the store is secure at all times and the staff is working in a safe and secure environment.

l Ensures proper team member coverage, scheduling according to the needs of the business while maintaining target labour costs.

l Arranging the purchasing of goods and maintaining records of stock levels.

l Oversees all cash management functions. Able to perform all POS duties, front and back of house functions including opening and closing procedures.

l Maintains proper loss prevention standards, reviewing cash handling procedures, deposits and safe procedures.

l Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service.

l Be responsible for the smooth running of the café during events this will include catering and hosting.

**What We’re Looking For**:
l At least 6 months of work experience in the café or Restaurant hospitality area.

l Diploma level qualification or higher preferred

l Strong time management and organizational skills, be able to communicate effectively

l Must be able to work from 6 am as we open from 7am.
