**Job Description** The Role**

Reporting to the General Manager Operations, Pact Packaging New Zealand (PPNZ) and part of a collaborative Operational team. This position is to provide strong leadership to the Wellington site, develop and drive a consistent culture of operational excellence across the business, focused on optimizing safety, customer service and manufacturing performance.

- Promoting training and development through front line leadership development and succession planning

**To be successful in the role, you will need**:

- Minimum 5 years management experience in a manufacturing or Logistics environment
- Leadership skills
- Strong experience across operations, commercial and sales.
- Professional & commercial knowledge and acumen
- Able to work under pressure and show empathy when necessary
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Demonstrates good judgment and efficient decision-making skills
- Customer service focus
- Flexible and adaptable
- Project management and multi-tasking skills
