This is a varied and fast-paced role that will see you working across different situations and care needs. You'll work relief shifts and receive extra earnings on weekends, all while supporting people in your community to live their best lives. If you're reliable, compassionate, and confident in your skills, this is your opportunity to be part of something meaningful. This role supports clients based in Wellington Central. Each Tangata will have high risk individual care requirements, and you will support them with all elements of daily living such as: - Palliative cares - Bowel cares - Dementia - Mental health - Medication **Mōhou Ake | About You** - Level 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate (recognised in NZ) - 1 year of hands-on experience supporting clients with daily living needs. - Spinal injury experience - Stoma Management experience - Use of full, standing and two-person hoist - Experience administering prescribed medication - Understand and respect for the principles of TeTiriti o Waitangi and bi-cultural approach - Full/restricted driver's license - Be available to work every second weekend and relief work **He aha ai mātou? | Why Us?** - Competitive hourly rate of $29.10 per hour depending on qualifications - $1.00 per hour extra in your pay for weekend work - Access is leading the way in delivering exceptional service standards in our community - we provide ongoing training at every level in our workforce - Access to exclusive discounts for major retailers and wellbeing benefits via our Perks App **Access Community Health** l** Uru**Ātea has a mission to create a better day, every day for thousands of people throughout Aotearoa to live independently in their own homes and communities.
