**About the role**
The Radiology Department at North Shore Hospital is seeking a Radiology Relief Scheduler to provide effective clerical scheduling and administrative support to hospital wards, departments, and the community. We are a friendly and supportive team, and you will be part of a busy service that will offer you varied and interesting work. Although this role is based at North Shore Hospital, you will be required to work from both Waitākere and North Shore hospitals.
Duties include covering reception desks, and providing booking & administrative support to the Scheduling Team. This role will be required to work on different desks in times of staff absences, covering both Waitakere and North Shore Hospital.
**To be successful in the role, you will need**
- at least 2 years clerical or administrative experience in a customer-focussed environment
- prior experience in a Public Health setting
- experience in booking & scheduling _(preferred but not essential)_
- excellent telephone manner
- ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times
