As a Health Care Assistant you will play a key role in delivering quality patient care for our patients and whanau.

**Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service**

The Waikato ED is the major regional referral and trauma centre for the Midland region. We see approximately 85,000 patients per year with a broad case mix of presentations from paediatrics to geriatrics, medicine to trauma - there is no aspect of emergency medical care we do not provide.

**A typical day as a Health Care Assistant can include**:

- Assisting with basic patient care
- Restocking of supplies
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Other such duties that will assist with the smooth running of the department

**The successful applicant will need**:

**Current experience working in a NZ health care, emergency / critical care department is essential.**
