We have an exciting leadership opportunity within our Information Technology Team based in Rotorua.

**Key accountabilities are**:

- Lead and manage the IT Applications and Projects Support Team, ensuring high engagement and performance
- Provides leadership across systems and platforms to ensure data integrity, systems interoperability, and robust operations.
- Enable information access and delivery through data and reporting services.
- Supports project delivery & provides expert input into planning, design, delivery, and integration.
- Support strong and positive engagement with science and business operations.
- Provides excellent customer service to all Scion staff and customers.

**To be successful in this role, your skills and experience will include**:

- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Information Management or Business
- At least 10 years of experience in Information Technology roles, preferably with people management and project management experience.
- Broad technology understanding across current mainstream technologies including Microsoft and Cloud environments and development toolsets.
- Ability to listen and engage, build relationships, and influence others.
- Ability to advocate for and support organisational change and process improvement through the adoption of digital technologies.
