Are you looking for an opportunity to Lead UX Design Change? we have an amazing opportunity with one of Aotearoa’s leading education providers.
As a Senior UX Designer you will empower the product team to solve customer and business problems. This role will play a key step in the Digital and Information Team as they embark on a new digital strategy. As a Senior UX Designer you will help shape the design practices across the organisation from the ground up as they navigate its transformational journey.
This role is a product centric focussed way of working and will lead and shape the UX design across the digital strategy. The organisation needs someone that can come on board to help research UX practices, lead co design and contribute at all levels to UX design.
This organisation is looking for someone that is curious, can help design user experiences and lead / contribute to the overall digital strategy. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Leading the design strategy in a client centric approach as well as improvements to existing experiences.
- Leading discovery work, building user testing practices, and identifying needs and pain points.
- Create innovative solutions for a wide variety of product design challenges including desktop and mobile.
- Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mock ups.
- Bachelor’s degree in design, human computer interaction, HCDE or 5+ years equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years’ experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect or similar role.
- Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating user centered design solutions.
- Experience with design and prototyping tools such as illustrator, InVision, Figma or equivalent.
