About the role

As an Advisor in the Leadership Development and Recruitment (LDR) team, you will play a vital supporting role in shaping leadership capability across the Public Service. You'll assist with recruitment processes for Public Service chief executives (a statutory function), coordinate projects, and help deliver initiatives that strengthen leadership development and succession planning. This is an opportunity to gain insight into leadership at the highest levels of the Public Service while building your own capability in a dynamic, high-trust environment.

Key responsibilities

This role offers significant development opportunities and exposure to leadership at the highest levels of the Public Service. You will:

- Support recruitment and appointment processes for Public Service chief executives, including logistics and documentation.
- Prepare packs, briefs, and materials for interviews and meetings.
- Assist with project tracking, timelines, and reporting for leadership development initiatives.
- Coordinate administrative tasks such as travel arrangements and Statements of Work.
- Contribute to advice and information for senior leaders and Ministers under guidance.
- Help maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including chief executives' offices and external providers.

**Remuneration**:
The full range for the band is $80,495 to 106,758. We typically look to appoint to role between$80,495 to $98,718, depending on skills and experience.

**Requirements**:
