He angitūtanga - The opportunity
The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) is a Crown Entity whose purpose is to mobilise New Zealanders to be world leaders in clean and clever energy use. Due to internal promotions, we're now looking for a Low Emission Transport Fund (LETF) Lead, to be responsible for the delivery and end-to-end processes of the LETF fund.
On a day-to-day basis, that includes everything from setting up and getting approval for a new funding round, to taking phone call enquiries, running the assessment panel, and giving applicants the good news or a decline.
Project and deadline management will be key, and you will also get to spend time out in the market (and on the phone) talking to people about the Fund and how they can decarbonise their transport.

To be successful in this role, you'll be an excellent relationship manager, and someone who can plan and prioritise to meet firm deadlines.

**In addition, you will have**:

- strong commercial acumen
- good understanding of business issues and technologies
- familiarity with project/programme/fund management (ideally, in a Government context)
- passion for decarbonisation.
