We are recruiting for TWO community champions to join us as trustees for the Maidstone Park Trust.
**Ko wai mātou - Who we are**:
Maidstone Park Trust is overseen by a board of seven trustees who govern the operation of Maidstone Park Community Sports Hub and some other associated park functions. The Trust is dedicated to leading and promoting an active lifestyle and enhancing the quality of life for our Upper Hutt community. Our Board of Trustees plays a pivotal role in driving this vision forward.

Your experience in governance and Te Ao Māori coupled with your background in facility management and/or business development, health and safety - are invaluable to our vision. By joining the Board of Trustees, you will have a unique opportunity to shape crucial decisions, steer strategic community initiatives, and positively influence the lives of countless individuals within our community in the sports, recreation, leisure and play scene.
**Āu mahi - What you'll do**:
As a Trustee, you will actively contribute to vital discussions, offering your expertise to support and guide the implementation of transformative policies to govern the operations of the Maidstone Community Sports Hub and other park functions.
The term of office is for up to three years from the date of appointment. Trust meetings are likely to be held every four weeks and the positions are voluntary.
