The DCE Māori business unit is focussed on improving the wellness and wellbeing outcomes for people in our care and management. Operating across rehabilitation, reintegration, strategic policy and insights and Māori advisory functions, this group plays a critical role in supporting Ara Poutama Aotearoa to deliver on Hōkai Rangi and realise better outcomes for the people in our care and management.

Mō te tūnga | About the role
You will also prepare financial analysis on contract changes, making this a varied, stimulating and professionally challenging role. You will gain valuable exposure to outcomes-based contracts and performance management strategies.

Mōu | About you
- Experience in a similar Contract Analyst role is required
- Numerate, with well-developed quantitative and financial analysis skills.
- Strong excel and database skills including preferably being comfortable developing and refining reporting dashboards.
- Proven ability to build working with internal customers and external suppliers from different technical backgrounds.
- Critical thinking and proactive approach.
- Good written and oral communication skills including reports to stakeholders and senior management.

You have an understanding and commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relations with a broad mix of individuals, and stakeholders. An understanding of the factors impacting on reintegration coupled with a genuine interest in the needs of specific groups will also be beneficial.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
Salary band for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 with appointment and remuneration reflecting skills and experience relevant to the role.
