Master of Applied Management Tutor (HPA) to teach Sustainability, required for four weeks course delivery, marking and resulting. Mondays 1-5 pm at Wintec's City Campus.
- We’re looking for a Lecturer in Applied Management (Postgraduate | Masters) to join our team on a part-time, fixed-term contract (6 hours per week, September-December 2025). This role involves lecturing and/or marking assessments, supporting research supervision, and helping shape the next generation of business leaders._

**Lecturer - Applied Management (Postgraduate | Masters)**
**Location**: Hamilton City Campus | Wintec - Te Pūkenga
**Hourly Rate**: $40-$45 per hour
**Hours**: 6 hours per week
**Fixed-term**: September - December 2025

**About the role**
Wintec’s Centre for Business and Enterprise is seeking a motivated and experienced academic to join our team as a **Lecturer in Applied Management (Postgraduate | Masters programmes)**. This is a **fixed-term, part-time role (6 hours per week, September-December 2025)** based at our Hamilton City Campus. The position involves **delivering lectures and/or marking postgraduate and masters-level assessments**, while supporting students through high-quality teaching, supervision, and applied learning.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Delivering engaging and effective teaching at postgraduate and master's level.
- Marking assessments and providing constructive feedback to students.
- Supervising student research, applied projects, and industry collaborations.
- Contributing to curriculum design and programme development.
- Supporting students from diverse backgrounds to achieve academic success.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:

- A master’s degree in business, management, or a related discipline (PhD preferred).
- Relevant tertiary teaching and/or industry experience.
- Expertise in one or more areas such as leadership, strategy, human resource management, analytics, change management,**industry projects, or sustainability.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to student-centred learning.
- An understanding of, or willingness to engage with, mātauranga Māori and bicultural perspectives in teaching and research.
