The Regional Cancer Treatment Service (RCTS) based at Palmerston North Hospital is seeking an experienced and highly motivated administrator.

This position is for someone with an eye for attention to detail and has a “can do” attitude. We are looking for someone who is able to work in a high demand workload. Each day is different, so we need someone who likes challenges.

This Administrator role will work as part of the RCTS Administration team covering formatting of clinic letters, Multi-Disciplinary Meetings, administrative support for clinic scheduling and at times reception duties.

This role is suited to a person who is self-motivated, experienced and confident with basic computer programs including Microsoft word, a team player and preferably someone with health sector knowledge looking for a challenging role that offers work life balance. You will be part of an amazing team that is supportive and friendly.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori
- High level of initiative and adaptability
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- High attention to details and accuracy
- Advanced systems skills (Microsoft/database experience)
- Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous
