Are you a highly skilled and hands-on leader in the structural steel and roofing space? We're looking for a dedicated Foreman to join our client's team, someone who can not only lead on-site projects but also actively contribute to the practical work.

**About the Role**

As Attika's incoming Foreman, you'll be responsible for overseeing the installation of a variety of structural steel elements, including portals, dry packing, purlins, and bracing. This is a dual-role position where you will lead a small team from within, ensuring every project is completed efficiently and to a high standard, while also actively participating in the work. You'll work closely with the Site Manager and be the on-site leader for your crew.

**What We're Looking For**

We need a loyal and adaptable leader committed to a long-term role. You should:

- **Lead from the front**: Be physically fit and ready for hands-on work, inspiring your team with a strong work ethic. Liaising with trades and other stakeholders.
- **Prioritize safety**: Be capable of working at heights and committed to upholding and enforcing all safety standards.
- **Be a mentor**: Guide your team's development and promote best practices.
- **Communicate clearly**: Be proficient in English to effectively lead your team and interact with clients.
- **Be adaptable**: Readily adopt and promote company processes and standards. Be able to travel for work as required, as Attika has projects throughout the South Island.

**Key Skills and Experience**

- **Structural Steel**: Advanced rigging skills with the ability to instruct others. You should be an expert in bolting beams and portals, and competent in interpreting structural plans.
- **Machinery**: Skilled in operating and training others on equipment like telehandlers, cranes, and scissor lifts (EWP).
- **Roofing & Cladding**: Expert in the installation of long-run roofing and cladding, including flashing.
- **Additional Skills**: Experience with steel reinforcing, formwork, concrete placement, precast panel joint sealing, and door installation is highly desirable.
