As Chief Advisor, you'll lead strategic thinking and provide expert advice on growing and sustaining a strong pipeline of school leaders. Your work will influence workforce strategy and investment, ensuring every akonga benefits from exceptional leadership. **About you | Mohou ake**

You're a professional likely with school leadership knowledge and expertise. You're comfortable working across disciplines-whether that's operational policy, strategy or implementation - and know how to bring people together to shape solutions that work.

You'll bring:

- A clear, structured approach to your work, with a focus on producing outputs that are practical and useable
- A track record of analysis, research, advice, and problem solving
- Experience working collaboratively with people
- A commitment to equity and to increasing your confidence in te ao Maori, te reo Maori and Te Tiriti-based practice
- An understanding of how education or public service delivery works-or the ability to quickly build understanding in a new context.
- An understanding of the education workforce and workforce development.
- The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.

Our Group (Te Pou Ohumahi Matauranga) develops and implements strategies for the education workforce and its leaders, focusing on specialist services, employment relations, pay equity, and more, so that we have the education workforce with the right supports, in the right places at the right time.
