The internal IT Group plays a crucial role in building the future through the innovative use of technology. They are currently seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to join the team.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Building, supporting, and maintaining the M365 and SharePoint environments.
- Assisting the Service Desk and wider business with support by acting as a technical liaison.
- Coordinating project tasks and resolving support issues.
- Providing technical knowledge, coaching, and support to team members.
- Acting as an escalation point between the Service Desk and Applications team.

**Daily tasks include**:

- Supporting the SharePoint and M365 environments.
- Designing, developing, and supporting modern business solutions.
- Providing expertise on M365 and SharePoint technologies and best practices.
- Assisting with compliance and internal audit reviews and processes.
- Improving and documenting technical processes.
- Coaching and mentoring the Service Desk team.
- Troubleshooting technical issues.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of practical experience in maintaining and supporting M365 and SharePoint environments, including SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online.
- Experience with Power Platform (Low-Code/No-Code) technologies preferred.
- Knowledge or experience in O365 and Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Active Directory, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripts and ServiceNow preferred.
- Practical experience with development languages (html, xml, json) preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
- Effective team player with positive contributions to team operations and relationships.

Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand. This role is offering $80,000 to $100,000 per annum depending on experience.
