Ngā kawenga | About the role
We are all about changing lives and creating pathways through meaningful Community Work projects. As a Community Work Supervisor, you will oversee and manage up to 8 community workers serving community work sentences on meaningful projects at schools, reserves, community groups, Marae and churches - whatever the community needs.
With a natural style to work collaboratively and top notch relationship management skills you will be someone who recognises the importance of the work Ara Poutama Aoteroa does and as we enter into a new and exciting era with Hokai Rangi, bring new ways of thinking to what is already a complex, dynamic and fast paced environment.

**We have two on-call casual positions available**:
Dunedin - work days could be Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday
Timaru - work days could be Thursday or Saturday
The hours of work for a Community Work Supervisor are 7.30am - 4.30pm.

He kōrero mōu | About you
We seek a dynamic person able to guide and motivate people in our care to complete their community work hours. Practical handy person skills and ability to communicate with individuals and groups.
You must work with high integrity and will demonstrate the Departmental values within your work: Wairua, Whānau, Manaaki, Kaitiaki and Rangatira.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
The annualised starting salary is $56,773, appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
