Advisor | Whānau Ora, Operations, Regional Partnerships & Operations We are looking for an Advisor who is seeking a new and exciting opportunity to support Whānau based initiatives

The Whānau Ora team at Te Puni Kokiri provides oversight and contract management for Whānau Ora funding, supports the Minister for Whānau Ora and cross-agency Whānau Ora initiatives. The team are passionate about contributing to system change and influencing across government to achieve better outcomes for whānau.

- Whānau Ora Commissioning workstream_

The Whānau Ora commissioning model is unique because it devolves funding decisions to community-based commissioning agencies. These agencies work with partners, providers, and navigators to support whānau achieve their aspirations.

Te Puni Kōkiri is responsible for contract and relationship management across the commissioning agencies. The Advisor will support the Whānau Ora Manager and Principal Advisor and Senior Advisors to deliver on the commissioning workstream. This includes programme coordination, relationship management, ministerial servicing and contributing to projects and engagements as required. They will also provide strategic and analytical input on complex issues.

You will be an innovative thinker who is politically astute but also willing to challenge status quo. You will have the ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders while finding ways to meet ministerial, partners and organisational imperatives.

You will have:

- Conceptual and analytical skills and experience in developing and implementing workable solutions to ambiguous and complex problems.
- An understanding of social outcomes measurement and evaluation, actuarial analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to operate with a diverse and flexible team of staff including the ability to build, maintain and enhance strategic relationships within Te Puni Kōkiri, government departments and Commissioning Agencies.
- Contract management, contracting for outcomes or relationship management experience.
