**Job Description Summary**: As the Clinical Applications Specialist at GE Healthcare you will be responsible for providing the clinical support during the sales process for the Perioperative and Critical Care product range within New Zealand. Responsibilities may include providing the required pre-sale product demonstrations (or clinical trial support) as well as post-sale installation, training and/or customer service activities to support sales objectives. GE Healthcare has a broad base of installed monitors and Anaesthetic machines across New Zealand. You will be working with a high performing team with well recognised products at your disposal. Success will be achieved by ensuring a customer centric approach in all aspects of your role. **Essential Responsibilities**: - Improve customer satisfaction and socket retention through continuing education - Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and promotion as well as customer training - Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies - Produce well-written post-training reports and provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs **About You**: Your communication skills will be pivotal to your success. Building trust early will be essential and you will do this with your self-discipline around following up, executing on tasks, and doing what you say you will do. **Qualifications and Experience**: - Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in related business or technical/clinical field, e.g. nursing - Solid clinical / technical experience with demonstrated basic clinical proficiencies on current products - Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages - Solid presentation skills - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Willingness to travel extensively within your specified geographic region as well as to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows - a valid driver’s license is a must, as is the requirement for you to be fully vaccinated for Covid - Proven professional business acumen (experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process) - Team oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset - Willingness to be flexible/adapt to changing work environments GE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
