**Site Manager - Packaging Central**

**Levin, Manawatu**

OJI Fibre Solutions is one of New Zealand's leading manufacturers and suppliers of packaging solutions to a wide range of industries throughout the country. Our customers include blue chip manufacturers and marketers of packaging products to the food, primary produce, industrial and grocery sectors.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer - Packaging, this pivotal role takes full responsibility for the operational aspects of the plant to deliver or exceed all business targets including EHSR compliance and behavioural excellence, continuous improvement of all aspects of the operation including quality, plant reliability, productivity, cost and waste, whilst developing a high performing team as the champion of coaching and development.

This is an extremely complex and ever-changing environment where our customers demand a fast turnaround and expect us to deliver in full every time.

We expect you to have a passion for lifelong learning, to keep a finger on the pulse of new technologies and methodologies and possess the mental fortitude to take complete ownership of this high-performing and challenging operation.

Your CV must demonstrate:

- Considerable experience managing large scale manufacturing operations (food, pharmaceutical or packaging)
- Exceptional leadership skills working within a complex manufacturing environment
- Detailed working knowledge around Health & Safety and continuous improvement
- Sound commercial acumen
- Lean Manufacturing and 5S implementation experience
- Coaching and developing your team to deliver world class results
- A relevant tertiary degree qualification preferred
