K International NZ Limited T/A Powerful 4x4 is a company importing a wide range of vehicle parts and accessories from China and Thailand and wholesaling them locally in store and nationwide online. The companys head office, warehouse, showroom/retail shop are based in Palmerston North, being situated within a very large commercial building with 1100 square meters.

We now need an Importing Manger to independently plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the operations of importing of all products from offshore and managing the wholesale to the customers, such as nationwide franchised car dealers, 4S shops, vehicle dealers, vehicle repair shops etc.as well as retailing these parts/accessories (mainly online) to individual customers. The whole process is targeted to be efficient, effective, minimum cost and expense possible, maximal margin, and increasing customer base and market share.

**Task include**:

- identifying local and overseas business opportunities
- developing and implementing business plans, and marketing, operating, human resource, pricing and credit policies and procedures
- determining the mix of products and services to be provided and negotiating conditions of trade
- liaising with local and overseas suppliers and distributors about orders and products
- researching regulatory and statutory requirements affecting the importing, exporting, wholesaling and distribution of goods
- monitoring business performance and preparing estimates, financial statements and reports of operations
- appointing agents and distributors
- arranging the shipping of goods into and out of the country
- overseeing the display and sale of merchandise and preparation of product information for customer service staff and customers
- implementing after-sales service procedures

Applicant should have a Bachelor or higher qualification in Business/Management filed, or at least 5 years relevant work experience.
