Open Table Cafe in Ellerslie, Auckland currently looks for a Cafe Manager to join our busy team. Working hours is between 30 and 40 hours per week. Pay rate ranges from $30 to $31 per hour.

**Required skills and attributes**:

- Can start at 5.30am; available to work on weekends and public holidays.
- Have a relevant qualification at diploma level (or above) or have at least 3 years relevant work experience.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate the team.

**Your duties will include**:

- Plan menus and daily/weekly specials with chef.
- Determine selling price of food and beverage in the cafe.
- Order supplies, check for quality and quantity of supplies delivered, resolve any issue with suppliers.
- Keep record of stock level and financial transactions.
- Plan and organise customer bookings, arrange and accommodate special requests.
- Identify ways to retain and attract customers and decrease operational costs.
- Obtain customer feedback, resolve any complaints about food quality and service.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensure staff carries out all duties efficiently.
- Prepare weekly roaster and find suitable replacements for staff absence.
- Ensure the cafe comply with health regulations and functional, look clean and appealing to customers.
- Perform any other related duties as required.
