We have an exciting opportunity for a professional and capable Legal Administrator to join our busy Christchurch Property and Resource Management team, supporting 2 Partners and 4 lawyers.

This challenging and varied role provides the opportunity to work with some of the sharpest legal minds in the market. You will work in a high-performing, yet social, fun and supportive team, involved in top-tier legal work.

Experience in a legal environment is preferred, however applicants from a professional services environment with a solid secretarial or property administration background are encouraged to apply.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Financial Hygiene - Leading the billing, matter management, client reporting and debtor management processes
- Administer the onboarding of new clients and opening of matters incl. supporting the AML process
- Producing legal and correspondence documents to a high standard within specified time-frames; incl. document management and E-filing
- Facilitating Chapman Tripp's client relationships and business development through the use of InterAction, Aderant and other tools/systems
- Championing internal administrative processes to ensure national consistency
- Working collaboratively within the local team and across Chapman Tripp
- Practice specific tasks i.e Title searches etc.

**Relevant skills and experience required**:

- Previous experience as a legal secretary or personal assistant
- Highly self-motivated and positive team player
- Excellent written and verbal skills; and strong attention to detail
- Pro-active forward-thinking approach
- Organised and able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time
- Experience / confidence in using new systems and tools
- Confident user of Office - Outlook, Sharepoint, Word
- Calm and composed under pressure
