**Hourly Rate**

$23.00-$30.00

**Hours per Week**

Guaranteed hours of work per week:Minimum 30 hours. Up to 50 hours.

We now need 3Crop FarmSupervisors, and you will be working on different shifts.

**Your Key Responsibilities will be**:

- providingquality check& supervision to all workers
- giving training &demonstration to new workers
- arranging tools and labours on daily basis, according to seasonand customer orders
- creating shift rosterfor all workers
- contacting customers to confirm orders and deliveries
- contacting suppliers for all types of supplies, including tools, fertilizers, soils, and others

**Requirements for theapplicants**:
**You are expected to possess a strong comprehension of the following tasks and be able toexecute them proficiently, so that, you can fulfil responsibility 1 & 2 above**:

- planting vegetables, seeds, seedlings, roots, bulbs, vines and other plants using hand tools and farm machines
- building trellises for climbing vegetables and vines
- operating farm machines to cultivate, fertilise, spray and harvest fruit and vegetables
- spraying trees, vines and other plants with chemicals to control weed growth, insects, fungus growth and diseases
- irrigating land for crop growth
- selecting and picking fruit and vegetablesaccording to size and ripeness, and discarding rotting and over-ripened produce
- grading, sorting, bunching and packing produce into packages.
- loading filled vegetable packages onto trucks
- **General Requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications and previous work experience are not compulsory but would be an advantage
- On-job training will be provided where necessary
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Contribute towards the smooth running of the team
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including those relating to hygiene, respect for other team members, timekeeping, and flexibility
- ** Priority will be given to NZ citizens/residents**
