We are looking for 3-5 permanent and full-time (at least 30 hours guaranteed to maximum 60 hours per week, workdays from Monday to Sunday) competent Handypersons to grow with our team.

Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established construction company and become a part of a great team. Our work locations are across Auckland and Wellington Region.

Handyperson will be assisting with appliance installation, property repair and maintenance work in renovation and new builds projects. You should ideally be a great team player, have a site safety mind, be physically fit, punctual, and hardworking.

No prior work experience is required for this role but could be an advantage. Priority will be given to local NZ residence/citizens.

**About us**

We are a well-established vegetable farm located at Waikato. We supply a great variety of vegetables to our customers throughout the year. We are looking for 3-5 permanent and full-time (at least 30 hours guaranteed to maximum 60 hours per week, workdays from Monday to Friday) competent Handypersons to grow with our team.

**Tasks & responsibilities**:

- Cleaning the area for vegetable growing and production and ensuring materials and equipment are in good working order
- Assisting in cultivating and fertilising soil to prepare for seeds and seedlings plantation.
- Repairing and restoring simple defective and broken items, such as hand tools and farm machines etc.
- Assisting with the installation of appliances, such as building trellises for climbing vegetables
- Cleaning and repair ducts, pipes, gardens lawns, driveways and walkways
- Performing limited assembly, installation and maintenance functions under the supervision of a tradesperson
- Following instructions from supervisors
- Assisting in selecting, picking, grading, sorting, bunching, packing and loading vegetable plants to make sure the farm working properly
