Position Overview

At QT Auckland, we don't just check guests in, we check them out of the ordinary. As a Guest Service Agent, you'll be the face of our quirky, art-filled hotel, creating unforgettable first impressions and smooth departures. Your mission? Anticipate needs, deliver exceptional service, and sprinkle a little QT magic into every interaction. This is a minimum 20-hour per week role, perfect for someone who thrives on variety and loves making connections.

This is a part-time role working across 2-3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Roll out the red carpet with a warm, playful welcome and fond farewell for every guest.
  • Master the art of check-in and check-out with efficiency, flair, and a smile.
  • Keep transactions and reservations accurate - because details matter when creating extraordinary experiences.
  • Team up with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Reservations to ensure rooms are guest-ready and requests are met pronto.
  • Handle inquiries, special requests, and the occasional curveball with confidence and creativity.
  • Be the go-to guru for hotel services, local hotspots, and insider tips - because you know Wellington like the back of your hand.

What We're Looking For

  • Hospitality experience is a plus, but a passion for people and service is non-negotiable.
  • A personality that shines - warm, approachable, and just a little bit cheeky.
  • Ability to juggle tasks like a pro in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Sharp attention to detail and accuracy (because even the quirkiest hotels need precision).
  • Flexibility to work across shifts, weekends, and public holidays—because the QT vibe never sleeps.
  • Full drivers license to safely park and retrieve guest vehicles as part of our valet service.
