Sudima Kaikōura, is a new 4.5-star hotel on the esplanade of Kaikōura's waterfront, conveniently located at the end of the town centre. The hotel has spectacular 360 views of the seaward Kaikōura mountain range, waterfront and peninsula and proudly presents 120 well-appointed rooms, Hiku Restaurant, bar, conference facilities and infinity pool.

**The Role | Te mahi**

We are seeking a flexible and reliable Kitchen Hand to join our friendly kitchen team at the new waterfront restaurant Hiku, Sudima Kaikōura. This is a part time role with an hourly rate is $24.00 per hour.

**Responsibilities | Nga haepapa**
- Supporting with stock deliveries
- Washing dishes and cleaning in the kitchen
- Working in a reliable and timely manner
- Helping with basic food preparation
- Following the guidance of the Senior chefs
- Follow and enforce strict health and hygiene standards

**Requirements**:

- Enjoy practical work.
- Ability to work quickly and safely with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Ability to lift heavy pots etc.
- Be enthusiastic and show initiative
- Flexible to work rostered shifts over a 7 day week including public holidays and weekends.
- Current valid rights to work in New Zealand.
