Here at Upper Hutt City Council, we are passionate about connecting with our community and are seeking to recruit a new team member to join our vibrant Community Partnerships team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as the Sport, Recreation and Play Advisor - Community Partnerships. This role will focus on connecting our community to existing opportunities for active recreation, sport and play as well as the development of programmes in partnership with community organisations that promote participation.
Innovative ways to engage the community with active recreation;
An active interest in recreation, sport and play
Experience working with community-led development and co-design principles
Excellent organisational skills and an ability to multi-task in a variety of roles as directed;
The ability to work autonomously with a high level of initiative;
Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills
Working with the Upper Hutt City Council is a rewarding way to support the community, work with a great team.
