**About the role and responsibilities**

Volkswagen are looking for a technician with a broad portfolio who is wanting to join our lively Pre-delivery & fleet service centre based in Mt Wellington. It will be 40 hours per week and the hours will be between 6.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. This role will have you carrying out Pre-Delivery inspections / fitting accessories on brand new vehicles, Pre purchase inspections and remedial repair work on used vehicles and trade in's before they are presented for sale as well as general servicing / repairs to keep our fleet customers on the road. You will be representing the Volkswagen brand, but you will be working in a close-knit team.

**You will also be responsible for the following, but not limited to the following**:

- Repairing vehicles such as engine, electrical wiring, transmission, and suspension systems.
- Performing a range of tests to diagnose and repair modern Volkswagen vehicles along with supporting other technicians
- Undertaking a wide range of mechanical work associated with the servicing, maintenance and repair of vehicles in an effective and timely fashion.
- Undertaking all training in an effective manner and assisting in the guidance of less experienced technicians.

**About you**
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
- Proven experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles with the highest quality standards in a European franchise dealership.
- Competent in complex repairs and diagnostics.
- A strong team player who is focused on providing exceptional quality service.
- A current valid Motor Trade Certificate.
- Clean drivers' licence.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

**Highly advantageous but not mandatory**
- VAG Brand experience (VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Porsche, Cupra)
- WOF ticket
